An after dinner speaker and church organist is to give a talk in the county town.
Dr Burroughs BEM will be entertaining members of the Dorchester Townswomen’s Guild with a talk titled ‘Can you play Jerusalem’.
It will be held in Dorchester Community Church, Liscombe Street, Poundbury on Monday, May 8 at 2pm.
Dr Burroughs has had many memorable and humorous moments on the Women’s Institute circuit across the West Country and promises strict anonymity.
Visitors are very welcome for a modest fee of £3.
Tea and coffee will be available. The Dorchester Townswomen’s Guild meet on the second Monday of the month at 2pm.
