A body has been found in a river in Dorchester.
The report of the discovery at the River Frome in the area of Lubbecke Way was received by Dorset Police at around 3pm yesterday (Saturday).
The body has been recovered, but no formal identification has taken place yet.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner has been notified.
There was a major emergency services presence around Lubbecke Way in the afternoon, with eyewitnesses describing around six police cars and an ambulance at the scene.

One witness said they noticed 'lots of police' in the area from around 3pm before an ambulance arrived and the cordon was put in place at around 5pm.
Specialist search officers were seen scouring the water and a tent was erected along the riverside.
