Police have been searching for a teenage girl who has gone missing from west Dorset and are calling on the public’s help to find her.
Evie Barnett, 14, went missing from an address in Piddlehinton at around 8.50pm yesterday - Thursday - and despite extensive searches and enquiries she has not been found.
She is described as 4ft 9ins tall and of medium build, with mousey-brown hair that was worn down. She was last seen wearing a black top, green trousers and pink and green Nike trainers.
Inspector Luke Larcombe, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out searches and enquiries throughout the night in a bid to find Evie, but these have not been successful. We know Evie has been upset lately and we are very concerned for her.
“I would urge anyone who has seen Evie, or knows of her whereabouts, to please contact us.
“I would also like to make a direct plea to Evie if you see this – please get in touch and let us know where you are. We just want to check you are safe and well.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Evie’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 20:705.
Dorset Police have revealed that the missing girl has been found.
