Dorset's motorists will have several road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A31, from 9pm March 25 to 6am April 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A31 both directions Roundhouse to Bere Regis, carriageway closure for roadmarkings, diversion via local authority network.

• A35, from 7am February 20 to 6pm April 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): Third party works - Dorset VIP - traffic signals and speed limit - A35 Winterbourne Abbas.

• A303, from 8pm April 3 to 5am December 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Hayes End to Parkhouse - mobile lane works for drainage works.

• A31, from 8pm April 10 to 6am April 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A31 both directions Lake Gates Roundabout to Merley Roundabout, traffic signals for barrier repairs.

• A31, from 8pm April 11 to 6am May 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A31 both directions Bere Regis to Roundhouse, carriageway closure for electrical work, diversion via local authority network.

• A35, from 8pm April 12 to 6am April 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): Third party works - Dorset VIP - traffic signals for removal of construction bell mouth.

• A31, from 9pm April 14 to 5am April 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A31 westbound, Ashley Heath, entry slip road closure for signage maintenance.

• A35, from 8am to 4pm on April 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A35 Shipp Knap to Bellair Morcombelake - use our network as diversion route.

• A31, from 8pm April 24 to 5am April 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A31 both directions Canford Bottom roundabout, Lane closure for electrical works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
