Knitted yarn bombs have once again returned to the seafront in Weymouth to celebrate the Easter season.
Easter-themed yarn bombs can be seen on the seafront near Hope Square outside the Old Rooms Inn.
Easter bunnies, bees, and chicks, which feature on the creation appeared on Cove Row on Wednesday, March 29.
Knitted messages including 'bee happy' and 'bee kind' can also be spotted embedded on the designs.
The designs have been sculpted by the same team of knitters who created designs that featured by the sea during Christmas season.
The team of avid knitters at the Knitaholics group in Weymouth have spent weeks putting the quirky designs together which have been well-received once again by the local community.
A spokesperson for the group said: "It's a relief to see them well-accepted. Yesterday, when we put them out and people were stopping and saying 'these are wonderful thank you so much.'
"We are getting a lot of people saying 'thanks for doing it' or 'I hope they don't get stolen again.'
Similar designs created for the festive season were stolen on New Year's Eve 2022.
An elf and three snowmen were taken on the evening, while a Santa and another snowman were later found but in a damaged state.
The group revealed that the lost designs were sadly never found despite a previous appeal in the Echo.
A spokesman continued: "We tend to meet every week and talk about future plans. It's a group decision. I do most of the pattern working out.
"I tend to knit a prototype and tell the girls how to do it and they put their own flare to them. They all look different which makes them unique.
"We're always looking for yarn and wool."
The group are always on the lookout for new sponsors to financially help the group with future projects which include potentially working to create designs for local business.
Sponsors can get in touch with the group by contacting knitoholics.wey@mail.com
