A FAMILY music festival in Dorset will once again be backed by a local brewery.
Hall and Woodhouse Brewery in Dorset has been announced as the headline partner for Blandford's three-day Teddy Rocks Festival once more.
The festival, which won the 'Best Family festival' prize at the UK Festival Awards in 2022, takes place from Friday, April 28 until Sunday, April 30 at Charisworth Farm near Blandford Forum and will see headliner acts Feeder, The Reytons, Jake Bugg and the Amazons take to the stage.
In a festival first, Blandford-based Hall and Woodhouse is set to bring a pop-up pub to the venue creating a pub vibe for some of its guests.
The pub structure will be onsite over the weekend and will include decorative fireplaces, indoor seating, and décor typically seen in Hall and Woodhouse pubs.
To add to the excitement, the pub experience will also feature a range of free activities for festival-goers to participate in, including beer and cheese tasting sessions, live music, and pub quizzes.
Ben Holden, regional manager at Hall & Woodhouse, said: “We have looked forward to Teddy Rocks every year since we began supporting the festival back in 2019, as it encompasses everything at the core of Hall and Woodhouse’s approach to supporting local communities, and giving back to worthy causes.
"Providing quality, welcoming, and exciting experiences for the whole family is what we strive to deliver when having a presence at local events.
“Over 100 members of Hall and Woodhouse’s team, alongside family and friends, will volunteer their time during the festival weekend, to deliver the quality service that our guests receive at each of our pubs across the south.
"We’re excited to be back at Teddy Rocks 2023 and raise a glass, or two.”
The brewery is set to provide infrastructure and operation of several bars dotted around the festival with all profits going straight to the festival’s children’s cancer charity, Teddy20.
Tom Newton, festival director at Teddy Rocks Festival, said: "The support we receive from the whole of the Hall and Woodhouse team is simply phenomenal. To have a world-class and award-winning brewery so close to us and one who cares so much about our festival and the cause is amazing.
"They always go above and beyond in everything they do, and we class them as very dear friends."
The brewery has been the official partner of the event since 2019 and has raised over £140,000 for charity in that time.
