Sherborne has been crowned as the best place to live in Dorset for 2023, according to Muddy Stilettos.
The women's lifestyle website creates a 'best places to live' list each year for England and breaks it down regionally.
The 2023 list was revealed towards the end of 2022 and now, after votes from Muddy Stilettos readers, the 10 Dorset entrants have been ranked.
The full lists of all the counties in England can be seen on the Muddy Stilettos website here.
A national winner is set to be revealed on Tuesday, March 28.

The 10 listed entrants for Dorset were ranked by Muddy Stilettos voters as follows:
1. Sherborne

3. Lyme Regis
4. Bridport
5. Swanage
6. Dorchester
7. Southbourne

In describing Sherborne Muddy Stilettos wrote: "The picture postcard market town in north west Dorset has gorgeous medieval and Georgian properties, an eclectic array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, excellent schools, a magnificent abbey and not one but two castles."
Much of western Dorset as a whole got good representation on the list with Lyme Regis and Bridport ranking third and fourth.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth did not make the top 10 but two areas nearby did in Southbourne (seventh) and Canford Cliffs (ninth).
Finally, the county town of Dorset in Dorchester did make it on, coming in sixth position.
