A retro aerobics workout at a gym in Dorchester has helped to raise £170 for Comic Relief.
On Friday March 17 the Blast Off PT Mental Health and Exercise gym in Dorchester hosted a charity retro aerobics workout.
Volunteers wore fancy dress costumes and took part in the workshop which was hosted in the old HMP in Dorchester.
The workout featured a special playlist, bringing back some "Pop-Mobility" routines from back in the 90s.
Participants dressed up in retro-style leg warmers and bright-coloured costumes for the fun workout.
A donation of £5 was suggested to all who took part, with all proceeds going towards Red Nose Day 2023.
Nationally the charity day managed to raise over £30 million, with the money used to help various charities across the UK and abroad.
Kerry Bartlett, a participant in the dance, said: "Everyone was in legwarmers and neon and adorned with glowsticks.
"Two instructors (one fitness and one dance teacher) took it in turns to lead a workout to an 80s/90s playlist, incorporating traditional workout movements. It was a lot of fun!"
Blast Off PT Fitness provide mental health advice and workouts in a variety of classes designed for older people.
