A POPULAR gardening show will be held in Bridport later this month, with opportunities to show off impressive pansies, art and cakes.
The Bridport and District Gardening Club Spring Show is set to take place at the Bridport United Church on Saturday, March 18 at 12 noon.
The show is open to members and non-members to enter and there will be opportunities to show flowers, preserves, cakes, art and handicraft as well as a children’s class.
Schedules for both the spring and harvest show, the latter of which takes place on September 9, are available on the club's website at www.bridportgardeningclub.co.uk or from Monique Pasche on 01308 301272.
At both shows there will be refreshments and a raffle, while proceeds from the plant sale will go to charity.
At the March show, a free small fuchsia plug can be collected to be grown at home and be shown at the autumn show on a first come, first served basis.
