A POPULAR 90s game show is set to return this year and is looking for residents in Dorset to take part.
The hit game show Gladiators, which sees four contestants take part in challenges against the show’s ‘gladiators’ to be crowned the winner, is to be revived later this year on BBC One.
Producers are currently looking for contestants in Dorset who believe they have what it takes to take them on.
Contestants, which includes two men and two women, will take part in brand-new games alongside classic challenges, culminating at the end of each episode with fan favourite The Eliminator.
A spokeswoman for the show said: “We are very excited about bringing Gladiators back to screens on BBC One and we are currently on the hunt for contenders who have the speed and skill to take them on.
“Our team is holding Contender try-outs across the UK this April, and we would love to hear from athletes in the South West who would like to go up against our new generation of Gladiators.”
Applications close on April 1 and contenders can apply online via the following address: https://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/take-part/gladiators
