An actor who appeared alongside Harrison Ford in Star Wars will be appearing at a Dorset village hall for a talk.

Paul Blake played Greedo in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, the first instalment of the Star Wars original trilogy.

Blake appeared in scenes alongside Han Solo, played by Harrison Ford.

Paul Blake will be appearing at Piddlehinton Village Hall as part of a Star Wars event on Friday, March 3 at 7.30 pm.

Mr Blake will be providing insight and talking about his experience on the Star Wars sets both in front of and behind the scenes.

The discussion will then be opened up to include questions from the floor. 

A 'stellar supper' will be served during which guests will be able to talk casually with Paul. 

Paul will then sign autographs and have selfies taken with him, which will be available at a small additional cost. 

Tickets cost £10 and include supper.

All proceeds will go towards the upkeep and running of Piddlehinton Village Hall, which provides a hub for all ages in the village, running events for the local community, and hosts the Post Office, exercise classes, table tennis, bowls etc.
