THERE will be an opportunity to have your say on the future of the way water and sewage operations are run in the area at an upcoming information session in Dorchester.
Wessex Water, which operates the water and sewerage for most of Dorset, will be outlining its plans for the future later this month.
The company is looking to hear from its customers regarding its planned investment for 2025 and beyond.
The areas in focus at the event will include looking to keep bills affordable and protecting the environment.
Sue Lindsay, Wessex Water’s Director of Customer Policy and Engagement, said: “We’ve been talking to thousands of customers, businesses and stakeholders over the last two years to help us develop our future plans.
"These sessions at towns and cities in our region are a great opportunity to hear feedback from customers and identify any areas we might need to change."
The event will take place at the Library and Learning Centre on Charles Street in Dorchester between 10am and 1pm on Monday, March 6 with a range of displays and a team of experts on hand to answer questions.
There will be refreshments available, as well as information on how to get help if bill payments are a struggle and water-saving advice.
An online session will be held for customers who can’t make it on the day.
