A TEENAGER has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a bike and a van.
The collision took place at approximately 7am this morning (Monday, February 27) on the A350 Grosvenor Road involving a Nissan van and a cyclist.
The cyclist - a 14-year-old boy - was taken to hospital by the ambulance service for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
Officers investigating the crash are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Police Constable Neil Hawkes, of North Dorset police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision, or the moments leading up to it, to please get in touch.
“Also, I am keen to hear from any motorists who captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
