A SHOP in Dorset suffered 'considerable damage' as thieves stole alcohol, tobacco and vapes in a late night raid.
The burglary happened at the Spar in Yetminster, near Sherborne, some time between 11.30pm on Thursday, February 23 and 12.40am today (Friday, February 24).
Police said that entry was gained to the convenience store by causing 'considerable damage' to the front window of the shop in north Dorset.
The force is appealing for anyone with further information on the burglary to come forward, quoting the incident number 55230029438.
"Thieves broke into the local SPAR shop at Yetminster and stole alcohol, vapes and tobacco," Sherborne Police said on Facebook.
"Entry was gained by causing considerable damage to a front window of the shop.
"If you saw or heard anything unusual at this time or if you think you may have CCTV or ring doorbell footage covering a road near the SPAR, please contact Dorset Police quoting incident number 55230029438."
