TRAIN users have been warned to expect delays following a signal fault.
Rail services are having to run at a reduced speed between Weymouth and Upwey as a result of a signal fault on the railway line.
A statement from rail operator South Western Railway said: "We have been informed of a signalling problem between Upwey to Weymouth.
"This means that trains towards Weymouth have to run at a reduced speed.
"For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
Train services between the stations are therefore delayed.
An update on Dorset Council's live travel map said: "Possible delays on South Western Railway between Upwey and Weymouth due to problems with the signals."
South Western Railway says it expects disruption until 4pm on Friday, February 24.
