There were eight more coronavirus deaths recorded across Dorset over the latest weekly period.
There were five deaths recorded in the Dorset Council area and a further three across the Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole Council area.
The latest figures from the UK coronavirus dashboard show a total of 1,022 people had died in the Dorset Council area by February 9 – up from 1,017 on the week before.
Meanwhile, a total of 1,305 people had died in the BCP area – up from 1,302 on the week before.
They were among 13,803 deaths recorded across the South West.
The weekly figures now include anyone whose death certificate – registered up to 14 days before February 23 (Thursday) – mentions Covid-19 as one of the causes.
