DEFENCE Secretary Ben Wallace has visited Ukrainian troops training in Dorset.
Mr Wallace paid a visit to troops at Bovington Camp on Wednesday, February 22, where soldiers have been engaging in a series of training exercises: including operating armoured vehicles.
The visit comes two weeks after President Zelensky visited Lulworth Camp alongside Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
On his visit, President Zelensky spoke with a small handful of Ukrainian troops during a medal ceremony.
Mr Zelensky visited Lulworth Camp to meet Ukrainian soldiers being trained by the British Army to use Challenger 2 tanks.
Approximately 80 Ukrainians are being trained in Lulworth to fight against Russia.
It was the first time the Ukrainian president had visited the UK since the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022 and only his second trip abroad since Moscow’s forces launched their full-scale invasion.
