Police are continuing to investigate after reports of a man who appeared to be drunk allegedly making inappropriate comments to a woman walking alone near Weymouth train station.
Officers have renewed an appeal for information and have asked for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland police said: "An incident occurred in King Street near to Weymouth train station, involving a man who appeared to be intoxicated making inappropriate comments to a woman who was walking on her own."
The man is described as white, aged in his mid to late 30s and of large to medium build with a dark-coloured beard. He was wearing a Parka-style jacket with the hood up, dark blue jeans or trousers and was carrying a can of beer.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "We understand there were a number of people in the vicinity including three children who were sitting near to the victim.
"We would urge any witnesses to please make contact with us and would also like to hear from any motorists who may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage."
The alleged comments were said to have been made between 6.10pm and 6.20pm on Thursday, January 26.
