A man has been reported for an alleged driving offence following a three-vehicle collision on the A350 near Shaftesbury.

Police were called to a crash on the A350 at 4pm on Monday, February 20.

No injuries are believed to have been reported.

Council workers were sent to the scene following an oil spillage on the road.

The A350 was blocked in both directions whilst recovery was arranged for the vehicles.

One of the drivers, a man in his 50s from Shaftesbury, has been reported for careless driving.

The road remained blocked from 4.30pm until around 7.30 pm.

The disruption also caused very slow traffic between Shaftesbury and the A303, according to Dorset Travel.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "We were called to a three vehicle collision on the A350 near Semley at 4pm yesterday. No injuries are believed to have been reported.

"There was oil spillage on the road and so the council were tasked to the scene. The road was blocked whilst recovery was arranged for the vehicles. One driver, a man in his 50s from Shaftesbury, was reported for careless driving."
