Dorset's motorists will have eight road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A31, from 8pm January 9 to 6am February 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A31 both directions Lake Gates to Merley, carriageway closure for barrier upgrades, diversion route via local authority network.
• A31, from 8pm February 6 to 6am March 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A31 Roundhouse Roundabout, Roundabout closures and temporary traffic signals for roadmarkings.
• A31, from 9pm January 30 to 6am April 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A31 westbound, Woolsbridge to Palmersford, carriageway closure for street lighting work, diversion via local authority network.
And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A35, from 7am February 20 to 6pm April 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): Third party works - Dorset VIP - traffic signals and speed limit - A35 Winterbourne Abbas.
• A31, from 8pm February 20 to 6am March 11, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A31 both directions Canford Bottom to Merley, temporary traffic signals for barrier works.
• A35, from 8pm February 20 to 6am February 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A31 both directions Bere Regis, temporary traffic signals for technology work.
• A303, from 8pm February 27 to 5am March 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 Both Directions Mere to Furze Hedge two-way signals for drainage.
• A31, from 8pm March 2 to 6am March 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A31 westbound, Verwood, slip road and lane closures for signage work, diversion via National Highways network.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
