A FESTIVAL of footsteps is coming to Dorchester later this year.
The Dorchester Walking festival will take place across nine days in May which is known as National Walking Month.
More than 40 guided walks around the local area will be available which include a mix of long and short routes for all abilities.
Journeys for keen hikers or for those who prefer a gentle stroll are on offer in a programme which aims to include something for everyone – for all ages, families and individuals alike.
Families are encouraged to take part in the festival with many of the routes being free of charge.
