Police have released an additional CCTV image of missing teenager Alex Bendall.
Alex Bendall, who is also known as Alice and is 18 years old, was reported missing at around 3 pm on Sunday 12 February 2023.
Following CCTV enquiries, the last known sighting has been confirmed as being at 7.41 pm on Saturday 11 February 2023 in Cornwall Road, Dorchester.
Alex is described as five feet six inches tall, of slim build, with short brown hair.
They were last seen wearing a black jacket with a denim body and black fabric sleeves, dark coloured jeans, Dr. Martens boots with a green lace in one boot and purple lace in the other, a bracelet over the cuff on the right arm and carrying a small backpack.
Chief Inspector Danny Thompson, of Dorset Police, said: “Officers have been concentrating on piecing together Alex’s movements on Saturday 11 February 2023 by making CCTV enquiries. We have now confirmed that they were last seen at 7.41pm on that Saturday evening in Cornwall Road, Dorchester.
“I am urging anyone who has home CCTV or was driving near or in the area of Cornwall Road and has dashcam fitted to please check their footage for any possible further sightings, which may enable us to follow where Alex may have gone from there.
“We have also been able to obtain another CCTV image a little earlier that evening, which shows clearly what Alex was wearing.
“I would like to renew my appeal to Alex directly – if you see this appeal, please get in touch with us or your family as we all are desperate to ensure you are safe and well.
“Finally, I am very grateful for all the help we have been receiving from everyone in our efforts to find Alex. This also includes the fantastic support from the local community, Charminster Parish Council and the Rapid Relief Team.”
Searches have continued throughout the week with assistance from the National Police Air Service, Dorset Search and Rescue, Wiltshire Search and Rescue, Hampshire Search and Rescue, Dorset Search Dogs, Hampshire Search & Rescue Dogs and Wessex 4x4.
