SLOW traffic is being reported on a key road in Weymouth as a result of an earlier crash.
The A354 Weymouth Way was blocked for around 40 minutes after a two-car crash between Chafeys roundabout and the Manor roundabout.
Two cars were involved with the collision and subsequently recovered.
Emergency services attended and it is not reported that any injuries were sustained.
Congestion from the accident is affecting traffic between Weymouth and Upwey with slow traffic being reported along Dorchester Road passing Morrisons.
The A354 Weymouth Way is blocked due to accident between B3157 Granby Way (Chafeys roundabout) and B3159 Dorchester Road (Manor Roundabout).
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 11.51am of a two vehicle collision on the A354 in Weymouth between the Chafeys Roundabout and the Manor Roundabout.
"Officers have attended and there are no reports of any injuries.
"The vehicles are being recovered."
