POLICE have been on patrol at a village hall after reports of anti-social behaviour.
Damage to the playground fence and equipment was reported to the village hall in Crossways, near Dorchester, last week.
Wood and rubbish had been dumped in the garden whilst covers had been removed from the gas valve and the top of the bin.
Police said the area had been left covered in rubbish as a result.
Officers have reminded people that the village hall car park is privately owned and should only be used by people attending the village hall.
They reported a number of cars parked in the evening with occupants playing loud music, using the space to fix their cars, or to play football.
A spokesperson for Dorchester Police said “Please remember that this is a private car park and should only be used when attending the village hall.”
