A generator worth more than £16,000 has been stolen from a building site in Abbotsbury.
The generator was stolen between the afternoon of Wednesday, February 1 and the morning of Thursday, February 9 from a secure building site in the village of Abbotsbury.
The stolen Bruno Generator is valued at £16,280 when new.
It is possible the sign writing has now been removed.
The trailer has distinctive yellow forklift points.
Police Constable Glen Caddy, of Dorset Police's Rural Crime Team, said: “Our enquiries are continuing into this theft and I would ask anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity between the relevant timeframe to please come forward.
“I am now issuing an image of the stolen generator and trailer and would ask anyone who has seen it locally, either for sale or parked up in unusual circumstances, to please contact Dorset Police.”
