ONE person has received treatment after suffering from smoke inhalation when a wooden outbuilding was engulfed in fire.
Crews from both Dorchester and Weymouth fire station were called to a summer house at a property in Renfrew Close, Dorchester, shortly after 10.30am this morning (Saturday, February 11).
Upon arrival they discovered the wooden structure was well-alight and one person appeared to be suffering from smoke inhalation.
The fire was successfully extinguished using a hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus.
Firefighters also administered casualty care whilst waiting for an ambulance to arrive.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they had been called to the incident at 10.33am and had extinguished the blaze.
