A scale-modelling show is set to take place at the Tank Museum this weekend.
Live workshops and demonstrations will accompany displays of trains, planes, boats, tanks and more at the South West Model Show on February 11 and 12.
The annual attraction is returning to the Tank Museum, in Bovington, with displays for this year including a miniature model version of the museum, Daleks, and a 3D modelling workshop courtesy of Arts University Bournemouth.
Visitors Experience General Manager Rosanna Dean said: “For generations, people have made tank model kits and been inspired to visit The Tank Museum to see the real thing. This event combines two great passions; modelling and military history.
“Not only will visitors have the opportunity to see the latest modelling creations and meet like-minded people, but they’ll also have the chance to hear from the experts and pick up new tricks and tips on how to perfect their models at home.”
Entry to the South West Model Show is included with a standard admission ticket and annual passes. Tickets can be purchased via the Tank Museum’s website.
