A FAMILY history group will be hosting their next meeting at a church in Weymouth.
The South Dorset Group of Somerset and Dorset Family History Society will meet at St Aldhelm's Church Centre, Spa Road, Radipole on Friday, February 17 at 2.30pm.
At the meeting, a talk titled The Parks & Gardens of Melcombe Regis will be given by the Friends of Weymouth Museum Chairman Graham Perry, who will tell the story of the development of the parks and gardens in Melcombe Regis.
The talk will be illustrated with pictures and maps from both Mr Perry's own collection and also from Weymouth Museum.
Admission to the talk is priced at £2, which is also open to non-members of the group.
