A harbourside pub in Weymouth is set to re-open today following a two-week refurbishment.
The George Bar and Grill on Custom House Quay closed on Monday, January 23 for refurbishments which they had initially described in a post on social media as 'a bit of a tart up.'
They said: "We will be closing our doors for just two short weeks on 23rd January to allow us to give the building a bit of a tart up!
"We will open again on Monday 6th February, ready to serve all your favourite coffees, cakes and food."
A spokesperson from the pub told the Echo that as part of the refurbishments the kitchen had been extended to allow for more space as well as aesthetic changes around the venue.
From today, (Monday, February 6) it will be back open to the public for food and drinks.
