This February half-term, children can visit Shire Hall Museum in Dorchester for free

From Saturday, February 11 to Saturday, February 18, the museum will be hosting a range of activities to entertain the whole family.

Shire Hall Museum, on High West Street in Dorchester, brings over 200 years of history to life.

With interactive galleries, immersive cells and the historic courtroom, there is something for everyone at the museum.

For the February half-term only, up to three children per paying adult can visit Shire Hall Museum for free.

Included with entry, families can enjoy an interactive trail, craft activities and use the Museum’s interactive guides to discover the stories of children and adults who were tried at Shire Hall.

Shire Hall Café will be open all throughout half-term.

Enjoy locally-sourced brunches, daily-changing lunches and delicious cakes in Shire Hall’s airy mezzanine café.
