THE Tank Museum in Dorset is inviting families to make the most of its 100th birthday celebrations this half-term.
The museum, a registered charity based in Bovington, is marking its centenary in 2023 and has 'tonnes of party-themed fun' on offer to mark the occasion.
Visitors can look forward to the new 100th Birthday Bash Trail and explore some of the most important tanks and objects in the museum.
Award-winning balloon artist David Crofts will also be in action on Monday, February 13 to make a tank out of balloons.
Children can also enjoy a new tank inspired outdoor play area, opening in time for February half-term.
Inside, visitors can explore the museum's nine exhibitions and 300 military machines, as well as an indoor soft play space.
For the first weekend of half term, from February 11 to 12, a huge collection of model tanks, planes, ships and trains of all shapes and sizes will be available to see and purchase.
