DORCHESTER is set to welcome an Israeli graffiti artist to Brewery Square later this month.
Tel Aviv-born Yuvi will be at the Halo Fine Art Gallery for an exhibition of his 'Urban Pop Art' tour between 1pm and 3pm on Sunday, February 26.
Yuvi grew up surrounded by music, culture and political expression through graffiti and his experience instructed the style of his art.
His work has been represented across the world including Dubai, Hong Kong, Milan, the USA, and elsewhere in the UK.
He creates unique collages of popular imagery, phrasing and iconography to form his innovative work.
Paige House, gallery manager at Halo Fine Art, said: “Guests will love Yuvi’s vibrant, animated style of pop art graffiti.
"His work is rich in social and cultural commentary, combining traditional techniques with digital technology and pop culture references to dazzling effect.
"Our event is sure to spark some intriguing insights and captivate attendees, while giving them the opportunity to acquire a sought-after piece of artwork from one of our most exciting artists.”
Tara Bailey, centre manager at Brewery Square, added: “These events help bring the gallery’s eclectic selection of artwork to life, as visitors can meet the talent and better understand their inspiration.
"We are looking forward to seeing how much our guests enjoy another one-of-a-kind experience."
