POLICE are carrying out searches for a man who has gone missing from Wareham.
Steven Clarke, 54, was reported missing at 1.19pm on Saturday, January 28, having last been seen in the town on Thursday, January 26.
He is described as white, five feet 10 inches tall, of slim build and with brown unkempt hair.
He often wears an olive Gillet, black trousers and uses a gold-coloured walking stick.
Inspector Luke Larcombe, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Steven and we have officers searching the local area in a bid to find him.
“Due to the passage of time Steven was last seen, it is possible he may have left the area so I would urge anyone who has seen him, knows of his whereabouts or has seen a man matching the description given to please get in touch.
“Finally, if Steven sees this appeal, I would urge him to please contact us as we just want to know you are OK.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Steven’s whereabouts can contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/contact or by calling 101, quoting incident number 28:263.
