POLICE have seized a 'large amount' of cannabis from a property in Weymouth.
Officers from Weymouth and Portland Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a warrant at an address in the Chapelhay area of the town after information had been supplied that the address was linked to drug supply.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, January 25 officers conducted a warrant at the address where they discovered and seized the cannabis.
As a result of the seizure, a 16-year-old male is set to be interviewed by the force in due course.
If you have any information about drug supply in your area then it can be reported to Dorset Police by visiting their website or using the 101 phone number.
Cannabis is a class B drug and police can issue a warning or an on-the-spot fine of £90 if you’re found in possession of it.
