THE identity of a man found in Weymouth last year has been established following a renewed police appeal.
The man had initially been found near the seafront in Weymouth on Wednesday, September 28 2022.
He was described as five feet nine inches tall and of slim build. When he was found he had long, curly matted brown hair and a long brown beard.
Officers had made enquiries and had released two identity appeals in an attempt to find out more about the person.
Following the second appeal earlier this month a member of the public was able to supply information about the man, identifying him as a 43-year-old from Latvia.
Dorset Police thanked everyone who shared both of their appeals and contacted them with information.
