THE Corn Exchange in Dorchester was a hive of activity as it hosted West Dorset's Big Green Day.
Dozens of stalls were set up as green ideas were swapped and people learnt about ways to tackle climate change.
A West Dorset District Council spokesman said: "The event examined ways of how we can all work together to save energy, reduce waste and save resources.
"Energy-saving light bulbs were given away and there was lots of information for people to take away.
"The public were also asked for their views on tackling climate change. This will help the West Dorset Partnership draw up a strategy in the future."
