IN THE BAG
WEYMOUTH care home boss Christopher Webb has handed over £100 to charity from the sale of environmentally friendly bags.
As previously reported in Greenwatch, Mr Webb invested in a batch of stylish biodegradable bags because he used to get through so many plastic carriers when he went shopping.
The Jutexpo bags are made from hessian and feature the Ingleside Residential Home logo.
Mr Webb decided to sell some of the bags and donate the proceeds to Pets as Therapy, a charity which has brought joy to so many of his residents.
He said: "The bags are great. They're so much better for the environment and last a lot longer."
