Two incidents caused slow traffic and delays on main roads in Dorset this afternoon.
A broken down vehicle on A35 was first reported shortly before 1pm with reports of delayed traffic between the A352 West Stafford turn-off and Cuckoo Lane (Troy Town turn-off).
Motorists are experiencing delays towards Poundbury with Dorset Council's live travel updates feed saying there was 'very slow traffic'.
Vehicle recovery was arranged and the road re-opened by 2pm.
Meanwhile, a two-car crash saw traffic in north Dorset delayed for nearly three hours.
The crash, on the B3081 Bleke Street at Haimes Lane, in Shaftesbury, blocked the road from about 12.20pm.
The two cars involved both required recovery with the ambulance service in attendance.
The road was cleared shortly after 3pm.
