A historic fort in Weymouth is hosting Christmas festivities with a very special guest - a traditional green Santa Claus.
Nothe Fort, Weymouth, will be holding festive celebrations this weekend, including a special visit from Victorian Santa, dressed in his traditional green attire.
This is part of the fort's Christmas events which will be taking place on Saturday, December 17, and Sunday, December 18 from 11am to 3pm.
There will be Christmas Crafts, the opportunity to make your own snow globes from recycled jars, a Christmas games room, the opportunity to dress up as a nutcracker soldier in a photo booth, hunting for elves and festive platters in the Fort View Café.
A spokesperson said: “It's the familiar and jolly Father Christmas we all know and love, set in the spectacular walls of the Victorian Fort, in his traditional green attire. Come and say hello, you don’t want to miss him this Christmas.”
Visiting Victorian Santa, plus all festive activities, is included in the general admission ticket or annual pass.
Booking is required for the Make Your Own Snow Globe workshops; tickets are available at nothefort.org.uk.
