Charming festive 'yarn bomb' creations have appeared on bollards near Weymouth Harbour to the delight of passers-by.
Santa and a small army of snowmen knitted from wool have mysteriously appeared on traffic bollards near Hope Square, and were spotted early on Sunday morning when Weymouth was briefly covered in a dusting of snow.
Passers-by were seen to do a double-take over the festive decorations, which brought smiles on a chilly morning.
Nearby Hope Square is home to an ongoing display of yarn bomb creations made from brightly coloured wool and often displaying messages of hope. Items include a bicycle, flowers and tree decorations, and are the work of the Hope Square Flower Power Group.
At the time of writing it has not been confirmed whether the same group is behind the Christmas bollards, however.
