SNOW was seen across Dorset at the weekend to the excitement of many but the icy blast is also putting more pressure on energy bills.
Temperatures will remain low over the coming days with highs of just 1C to 3C during the day with lows of minus 9C or even 10C predicted by overnight on Thursday.
An amber “severe” cold weather alert will be in place until Friday morning, December 16.
But will we see more snow this week?
Dorset Snow said: “Generally the wintry shower risk decreases as we head into the new week, with higher pressure building from the south. We do need to watch out to our south west though. A deep low pressure system is lurking and could be ready to pounce.”
