PORTLAND Christmas Sparkle returns tomorrow with a packed programme of festive fun, carol singing and entertainment.
‘Tis the season to sparkle: head on over to Easton Gardens this Friday December 9 where the event is being held from 5pm to 8pm.
There will be much for revellers to enjoy – including stalls, fairground rides, refreshments and a chance to meet Santa.
Following the official opening by Portland’s Mayor, Cllr Pete Roper there will be Christmas songs around the tree, and a carol service at All Saints Church.
In and around the gardens there will be donkey rides; Cycling without Age; a treasure hunt organised by Island Community Action and a Santa Mini Moke. Attendees can also have a chat with representatives from the police, fire service and coastguard.
Performers from Twirl Academy, Royal Manor Theatre and Heart of Stone will keep crowds entertained, with music throughout the evening from Tim Woodcock and his band.
Refreshments and stalls will also be available at the Methodist Hall and C2000 centre.
