THERE were reports of heavy traffic on the A37 following an incident involving a car and a lorry.
Police, fire and ambulance services have attended the incident which was first reported at 09:35am.
A statement from Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 9.35am of a collision on the A37 at Long Ash Lane involving a car and a lorry.
"Officers have attended the scene, along with the fire and ambulance services."
The AA's live travel map is signalling that there there is heavy traffic due to a crash on the A37 in the southbound direction at the turn-off to Frampton.
A statement the AA said: "Reports of traffic heavier than normal due to crash on A37 Long Ash Lane Southbound at the Frampton turn off."
Traffic monitoring sources appear to show the road has now been cleared.
