The unique Christmas weekend in Weymouth with a steampunk twist will be officially starting later today.
Attendees will be getting ready to don their top hats, goggles and decorative gears for the fashion gala later today kicking off the weekend.
Today, Friday, December 2 at 7.30pm, The Royal Hotel will be hosting a Steampunk Fashion Gala in aid of Weldmar Hospicecare.
This fashion show will include garments created by the Ministry of Steampunk and Weymouth College students. It will feature static displays, talks, a catwalk and more.

Tomorrow, Saturday, December 3 there will be a Steampunk Market with Yuletide songs from, 10am to 4pm at The Nothe Fort. It will feature exhibitions, acts songs and more.
This will be followed by the Yuletide Ball at The Centenary Club from 8pm to late. It will include bands such as The Clan Dolmen.
And the final event is on Sunday, December 4. Attendants dressed in their finest steampunk attire will take to the Jubilee Clock for 11am for a Steampunk Promenade.
