An air ambulance was spotted on a Weymouth housing estate as medics were alerted to treat a patient and take them to hospital.
Details of the medical incident were not disclosed.
An air ambulance was seen to land in Telford Close playpark, Preston, at about 9.30am today, Monday.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 9.10am to an incident in Weymouth.
“We sent an air ambulance and a double-crewed land ambulance and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Dorset County Hospital.”
The helicopter was seen to take off again at approximately 10am.
Jonathan Hillier, a resident of Telford Close, said: “It landed right in the middle of what used to be a football field in the park.
“I saw two paramedics depart, but they didn’t seem to be carrying a stretcher when they returned.”
