THE entire troop of performers from Paulo's Americano Circus took to the streets of Weymouth to recruit new talent.
Spinning around lampposts, hula hooping, a lasso demonstration and a banging drum all helped to wow shoppers and get peoples' attention in the town centre.
Kakehole the clown, his sidekicks Mini-Me and Claudio, plus acrobats, jugglers and showgirls invited people of all ages to try circus skills.
Anyone with enthusiasm and potential was given the chance to train with the circus stars and appear in the show during its stay on Portland before it finishes this Sunday.
Ringmaster Paul Carpenter said the event was designed to see if Weymouth's Got Talent' in honour of the popular ITV show Britain's Got Talent'.
He said: "We have had a nine-year-old boy from Weymouth get in touch with us since then who is apparently very good on a unicycle. He will be coming in to audition. It has become very hard to discover new circus talent in the United Kingdom, as there is no national sponsorship or circus training."
Anyone who missed the recruitment event but would like to audition to perform at the Portland Friday or Saturday show can contact the ringmaster via the box office on 0702 112 5454.
