New jobs are set to be created after Caffé Nero confirmed it would be opening a new outlet in Dorset.

The coffeehouse chain will move into new premises at 18a South Street, in Dorchester, for a grand opening in mid-December.

The store will create five jobs within the community and replaces the former Edinburgh Wool site.

A spokesperson for Caffè Nero said the exact opening date would be confirmed “closer to the time”.

The spokesperson said: Caffe Nero is actually a family-owned, independent coffee house brand and the store will employ five people

“It will offer the full festive menu and drinks range and the store has been designed to offer a warm welcoming friendly place for locals to visit and meet.”
