A 'much-loved' member of the Weymouth neighbourhood police team served her final shift this week.
PC Sandra Rigby joined Dorset Police in 2014 after transferring from Police Scotland where she started in 2010.
During her eight years in Dorset, PC Rigby has worked in a variety of roles such as police negotiator, federation rep, as well as bringing in her dog Hogan, who is one of the force's wellbeing dogs.
A statement from the Weymouth and Portland Police said: "Sandra was truly at home within the Neighbourhood Team, supporting the local community. She will be sorely missed as she is a very supportive individual to all of her colleagues and the public that she served so well.
"Sandra's dedication and passion to the most vulnerable is highly commended. On behalf of everyone here at Dorset Police, we would like to wish Sandra all the very best in her new role and her future adventures. Thank you, Sandra."
