DUNELM in Weymouth is taking shape ahead of its opening next week.
The homeware store is the next business to open at the multi-million pound Weymouth Gateway retail development - with the launch on Thursday, November 17.
Its neighbour on the site, B&M, will open on Wednesday, November 30.
Elsewhere on the site, there are drive-thru food and drink outlets in the form of a McDonald's and a Costa Coffee.
In the meantime, more than 70 staff are working away at Dunelm to ready the store for its grand opening at 9am on November 17.
On that day staff will be handing out free bacon rolls from 8.30 am for the first 30 keen customers in the queue. As well as this the first 50 customers through the doors will each receive an 'exclusive' goody bag.
The shop comes equipped with its own Pausa Kitchen upstairs which will offer customers a range of seasonal hot and cold refreshments with a view overlooking the store.
Shelves are being built and filled at the shop that offers an array of goods to fill your home with bedding, cushions, decorations and other items, filling the ground floor.
The second floor, which is accessible via the stairs or the lift, hosts the cafe, a 'made to measure' section, curtains and blinds pictures and frames, rugs, furniture and much more.
Store manager Linda Bloor said: “We’re so excited to be opening our new Dunelm Weymouth store.
"The team will be working incredibly hard to get everything set up and ready and we can’t wait to welcome the local community into our amazing new home.”
Locals are invited to join the local Dunelm Weymouth Community Support Facebook Group where they can keep up to date with everything going on in-store both pre-opening and post - including how to claim a free hot drink in the café.
The Gateway is a key regeneration project by LondonMetric Property and Avercet.
It is expected to boost the local economy by around £5 million every year - and will also generate around £6 million in business rates.
