- WANTED fun loving active resident of Westham to come forward to form a team to represent Westham in the It's a Knock Out event on Weymouth Beach on Sunday, June 29.
The registration fee is £10 per person and the minimum team sponsorship is £500.
All profits raised will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care, registered charity number 207994.

- WESTHAM Cops have secured funding of £5,000 towards the running costs of Active Westham.
Anyone interested in registering their child if they live in the Westham area or attend the Westham schools should contact Julie Hursthouse, at Weymouth & Portland Borough Council on 01305 838497 or email juliehursthouse@weymouth.gov.uk.
The cost of registration will be £5 for the first child and £2.50 for any other child/children living at the same address. The scheme is open to anyone between the ages of 8 to 19 years.
The cost of the trips will be £6 with 12 trips on offer to include places such as Marwell Zoo, Splashdown and deep sea fishing to name but a few.
Indoor and outdoor sports will also be taking place at Budmouth school starting from Wednesday, July 9 from 6pm to 8pm with registration from 5.45pm.
These sessions will run on Wednesday and Friday evenings with a small fee of £1.
On Friday evenings between 7pm to 8pm there will be a chance for adults to join in the Active Westham events with activities such as a quiz, aerobic sessions, self defence classes, crafts, talks etc.
The team leader this year will be Dan Dukes who has worked with young people from Westham for the past three years.
- FOOTBALL training is still going ahead at The Marsh on Monday evenings from 5pm so if you lads want it carry one please join in.
- IF ANYONE in Hereford or Norfolk Road is interested in having one of the 20's plenty signs in their garden, please contact Christine James or come to the next COPS meeting on Tuesday, June 17 at the Fiveways Centre on Radipole Lane at 7pm.
- DURING the first world war, Westham was occupied by the ANZACS.
As part of the history project that is running, gardens are wanted for digs.
In particular part of Adelaide Crescent, Corporation Road, Perth Street, Wessex Road, Queensland Road and part of Kitchener Road.
